Join us for our annual Social Action Conference (SAC). Once a year we have a conference (con) dedicated to social action, workshops, discussions, themes, all dedicated to helping people in the world and our local communities. During the con, with pre-signed parental permission slips, everyone has the choice between two off-site social action volunteer jobs, from picking up trash to protesting against injustice, or staying at the church and helping make care packages (or equivalent activities). This con is a working con, which means everyone who attends should do so if they are not only willing to work, but want to participate in social action.
Our Social Action Coordinators, Maddy Prestridge and Devon Lawson plan, coordinate, and set up a large portion of this conference! This page will be updated with more info as soon as SAC YAC happens
